Data Sources & Attribution
The data we use come from a variety of reputable open-data sources, including:
TROPOMI NO₂ (ESA CCI+) – CC BY 4.0.
ERA5 Reanalysis (ECMWF / Copernicus) – Generated using Copernicus Climate Change Service information.
CAMS (Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service) – Generated using Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service information.
OpenStreetMap (OSM) – © OpenStreetMap contributors; licensed under ODbL.
ESA WorldCover – CC BY 4.0; contains modified Copernicus Sentinel data.
OpenAQ – Air quality data derived from OpenAQ data and contributors, used under applicable open-data licenses.
Other datasets – e.g., population, emissions, air quality data, and additional land-use data, used in accordance with their respective licenses (e.g., CEDS, WPP).
